TEDx Organizer Network (TON) is a professional community that connects and empowers TEDx organizers across Vietnam. Founded by experienced TEDx practitioners, TON provides guidance, mentorship, and shared resources to help organizers deliver high-quality and impactful events.
We believe that organizing a TEDx is not just an event, but a journey of leadership, creativity, and collaboration. By turning real experiences into structured support, TON helps every team grow stronger, more confident, and more connected within the TEDx ecosystem.
Our Vision
Our vision is to become the leading TEDx Organizer Network in Southeast Asia, where TEDx teams can exchange knowledge, strengthen capabilities, and co-create meaningful impact. TON aspires to raise professional standards, unify best practices, and build a supportive ecosystem that allows ideas worth spreading to travel further and inspire more lives.
What We Do
TON provides an integrated suite of services for TEDx organizers at every stage, including licensing guidance, event planning, speaker development, marketing, and community management. In addition to operational and mentorship support, TON develops a digital platform for ticketing and merchandise distribution, giving organizers tools to manage audiences, sell branded items, and reinvest profits into their future events. This shared infrastructure allows teams to scale sustainably while maintaining a professional, unified brand presence. Beyond services, TON acts as a collaborative platform where teams share experiences, host workshops, and grow together. With multiple TEDx communities connected under one network, TON also creates shared marketing opportunities and nationwide audience reach, amplifying visibility and fostering cross-event collaboration.
About the Co-Founders
Nguyen Thi Diem Phuong currently serves as the President of Skillcetera Club at FPT University Ho Chi Minh City, the official license holder of TEDxFPTUniversityHCMC. With extensive experience in event coordination and community leadership, she has taken key roles such as Sponsorship Leader and Project Manager for multiple TEDx seasons.
At TON, she oversees operations, connects organizers, and drives community growth through experience-sharing and collaboration. Her approach reflects the TED spirit of Ideas Worth Spreading, focusing on empowering young leaders to create lasting impact through their events.
Tran Nguyen Phuoc is an experienced TEDx organizer and the founder of Skillcetera, a Skills & Language Club that helps students develop communication, leadership, and professional competencies. He is a pioneer who introduced TEDx to the FPT University community by organizing the first TEDxFPTUniversityHCMC event.
With over five years of involvement in the TEDx ecosystem across Vietnam, he has provided mentorship and strategic support to several events such as TEDxLuongTheVinh and TEDxFPTDaNang. Phuoc was also awarded a full scholarship to attend TEDWomen 2023 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, recognizing his dedication to the TEDx mission and community impact.
At TON, he serves as a strategic advisor, guiding the network's development, inspiring organizers, and helping to expand the reach of the TEDx movement nationwide. His combined expertise in strategy, education, and event design makes him a key contributor to the network's long-term vision.
